Cosy Rip Socks

Crochet Yummy chocolate bar


you can make this crochet chocolate bar by using your leftover yarns, it is made to be a fridge decoration by sticking it to a piece of magnet but you can use it as a toy or a key chain as well


Materials
Yarn: fine weight leftover yarns – you will need a brown yarn and other CC yarn
2.5mm hook 
magnet
Scissor
stuffing
Darning needles

Size: 9cm x 4cm

Abbreviations
Ch chain
Sc single crochet
Dc double crochet
Hdc half double crochet
inc 2sc in same stitch
St stitch
Rep repeat

Chocolate bar  - with brown yarn
Cube (make 4)
Ch4
Row 1: sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 3 sts
Row 2 – 6: ch1, sc in 4 sts


Work around the created rectangle
Round 1: ch1, sc in each row and each st around (20sts)
Round 2: sc in each st (20sts), sl in first st from previous round, cut yarn leaving about 12 cm tail for sewing 



Sewing cubes
Sew each 2 cubes together, then sew the two pieces together as shown in the pictures




Closing the bar
starting at the smaller side edge, make a knot
Row 1: sc in 9 sts
Row 2 – 13: ch1, sc in each st



Sewing the bar
Sew two sides, Stuff each cube separately, sew the last open side of the bar

To give a firm look to the cubes, sew the front and back loop around the cubes






Making the cover – with CC
Ch28, sl in first ch, ch1
Work in spiral, sc in each st until it measures 4cm
 
 
Last row: sc in next 3 sts, hdc in next 5 sts, dc in next 7 sts, hdc in next 5 sts, sc in last 6 sts, cut yarn leaving about 25cm tail for sewing 


Insert the cube edge inside the cover and sew it in, stuff the cover then start making the following
Row 1: Make a knot, fold the cover and insert your hook in first two opposite sts and make 2 sc in same place, insert hook in next 2 opposite sts and make 2 sc and repeat to the end
Row 2: ch2, hdc in each st
Weave ends
