Cosy Rip Socks

This pattern is simple and classic, and a great first socks project for beginners hence it uses a worsted weight yarn instead of fingering which is more difficult for some newbies, even expert knitters need some easy peasy project every now and then You can find a pdf paid version of the pattern in ravelry for 3$ only Materials 60g of any worsted weight yarn 5mm / 80cm or 100cm circular needle Notions: Scissor, 2 Markers, Darning needle Gauge 16.5 sts x 24 rows = 10cm Size 22.5cm x 10cm Abbreviations K: knit P: purl k2tog: knit two together W&T: wrap and turn around next stitch Rep: Repeat PM: put marker M: marker Sl: slip stitch St:  stitch Sts: stitches Note W&T in a knit stitch: sl next stitch to right needle with yarn in back, bring yarn in front, sl back stitch to left needle, bring yarn to back and turn your work W&T in a purl stitch: sl next stitch to right needle with yarn in front, bring yarn to back, sl back stitch to left needle, bring yarn to front and turn yo

Purplish Dream Sweater

 
Purplish dream sweater is an easy constructed pattern, ideal for first garment make, it’s worked in four pieces and then all parts seamed together, the front design with all the yarn overs and bobbles are just adorable, adding to all that the softness and squishiness of the yarn which makes it so cozy and comfortable.

Skill Level: Advanced 
Size: S, M, L, XL
Finished Bust Size: 40", 43", 47", 50"
Needles: CN (7mm) 60cm & 80cm
Notions: Yarn needle / Stitch marker / Scissor
Yarn: Kartopu Melange Wool Tweed color M1418 (100g / 170m) / 7 balls
Gauge: 21 rows + 17 sts = (4” x 4”) / (10 x 10cm)


 


Pattern Instructions

Body (Front)
With 7mm 80cm CN
CO 84 (90, 96, 108)
Work Rows 1-4 of the waffle stitch 38 times or until length measure 15"

Then work the waffle stitch for 4 (5, 6, 8) repeats follows by the (front design) which you can find at the end of this document, ending with 4 (5, 6, 8) repeats of waffle stitch
Continue knitting the waffle stitch and front design till you reach the end of the front design, bind off leaving about 20" tail for sewing the shoulders 



Body (Back)
With 7mm 80cm CN
CO 84, 90, 96, 108
Work Rows 1-4 of the waffle stitch for 38 times, Bind off
Sleeves (make two)
With 7mm 60cm CN
CO 24 (30, 36, 42)
Work Rows 1-4 of the waffle stitch for 3 times

Increase row: *K2, (K1, P1 in next st), rep from * to the end

Then work stockinette stitch for 13.5", bind off leaving about 30" tail for sewing the sleeves to the body.




Seaming
Lay the back and front (RS) shoulder by shoulder, sew them together using the tails we left for sewing.

Sew both sleeves to the sides as shown in the picture, make sure to attach them in the middle, use some pins if you need.

Sew two sides of the body and the armpits.





Yoke
With 7mm 60cm CN
Pick up one st from each st or row around the neck opening, and make sure to have an even number of stitches when you done picking, PM
Work k1, p1 ripping for about 2" ,Bind off 


Tassels
Cut 4 strands of yarn (8" each)
Attach each tassel under the yo spaces as shown in pictures 


Weave in all ends
