This is the third pattern for the fridge magnet series I made, I really loved this star with the rainbows it's so cute, I'm sure you will have so much joy making it as I did

Materials

Yarn: fine weight leftover yarns – 8 or 6 different colors

2.5mm hook

magnet

Scissor

Stuffing

Marker

Darning needles

Star Size: 6cm x 6cm

Abbreviations

Ch chain

Sc single crochet

hdc half double crochet

Dec insert hook in front loop of next 2 stitches, pull a loop, yarn over hook, pull out two loops

St stitch

Rep repeat

ch2

Round 1: 5sc in first ch, use marker (5sts)

Round 2: 2sc in each st (10sts)

Round 3: *2sc, sc in next st, rep from *4 more times (15sts)

Round 4: *2sc, sc in next 2 sts, rep from *4 more times, sl in next st (20sts)

Cut yarn on 1st circle, continue next step with second circle

Shaping the star

Round 1: ch1, sc in 4 sts, ch2, pick the other circle you made, sc in 4sts, ch2, sl in first sc in this round (12sts)

Round 2: ch1, *dec, sc in 2 sts, sc in next 2 ch, Rep from *once again, sl in first st (10sts)

Round 3: ch1, *dec, sc in 3 sts, Rep from *once again, sl in first st (8sts)

Round 4: ch1, *dec, sc in 2 sts, Rep from *once again, sl in first st (6sts)

Round 5: ch1, *dec, sc in next st, Rep from *once again, sl in first st (

4sts)

Cut yarn, thread it in all 4 sts, pull yarn and weave in

Repeat the following 3 times

Make a knot and start working in the next st in the circle

Round 1: ch1, sc in 4 sts, ch2, work in the opposite sts in the other circle, sc in 4sts, sc in 2 sts in between, sl in first sc in this round (12sts)

Repeat rounds 2 – 5, Cut yarn, thread it in all 4 sts, pull yarn and weave in

Last part

Stuff each edge and the center, make a knot and start working in the next st in the circle

Round 1: ch1, sc in 4 sts, sc in 2 sts in between, work in the opposite sts in the other circle, sc in 4sts, sc in 2 sts in between, sl in first sc in this round (12sts)
