Cosy Rip Socks

Simple Winter Slipper

Make a slipper in one hour!!

This slipper is so warm and cosy, it uses chunky yarn so it’s super fast super easy to make. The slipper worked flat in one piece and then sewn in front and back end and of course a pompom boosts it up with so much cuteness


Materials

Two balls of Nako spagitti ()
7.5mm knitting needles
Scissor
Darning needles
Two markers
Pompom maker or preference method to make a pompom

Abbreviations

CO – cast on
K – knit
P – Purl
Ssk – slip slip knit
K2tog – knit 2 together
PM – put marker
Reb – repeat

CO27 – leave enough tail for sewing the back of the heel
Row 1: k4, PM, *k1, p1, rep from * to last 4 sts, PM, k4
Row 2: k4,*p1, k1, rep from * to last 4 sts, k4
Rep row 1 and 2 for 9 more times or until you reach 12cm

Row 21: *k1, p1, rep from * to the end
Row 22: *p1, k1, rep from * to the end
Rep row 21 and 22 for 5 more times or until you reach 20cm
Row 23: ssk (5times), *k1, p1, rep from * twice, k1, k2tog (5times)
Row 24: p6, *k1, p1, rep from * once more, k1, p6
Row 25: ssk (4times), p1, k2tog (4times)
Cut yarn leaving enough tail for sewing

Finishing

using a darning needle insert yarn in all open stitches and pull the yarn and tie yarn
Continue with the same yarn, Sew the front opening till you reach to the garter edge stitch, tie and cut yarn
Use the beginning tail to sew the back of the heel, fold the end in half and sew it, weave in all ends

Adding The Pompom

make a big pompom and attach it to the front of the slipper as shown in picture
